After more than two decades serving in emergency communications, I found myself facing a different kind of challenge. In 2023, after years of carrying the weight of other people’s emergencies, I stepped away from the profession to focus on recovery and building resiliency.   I have channelled it here.

Like many first responders and emergency communicators, I discovered that leaving the job doesn’t mean leaving behind the experiences, lessons, and sense of purpose it gave you.

TenEight Co. is my way of turning that history into something meaningful. Inspired by the voices behind the radio, the unseen professionals who keep communities safe, and the resilience found in every shift, our designs celebrate the people who answer the call—whether they’re dispatchers, firefighters, paramedics, police officers, utility workers, emergency managers, or anyone who serves others in times of need.

As for the clothing itself.....
